Staying ahead of the digitalization and learner-led trend, BAT has created an internal digital learning platform powered by AI, to connect its learning partners as well as internal and external sources for learning.
Mentoring and coaching are essential for developing leaders at all levels as well as sharing knowledge and creating better business solutions at BAT. While providing the key senior managers with external executive coaching, BAT also arranges for them mentors from Vietnam Leadership Team in form of both 1-1 and quarterly group mentoring sessions with more senior leaders.
Talent Development achieved outstanding outcomes in 2021, as evidenced by the employee’s Your Voice Survey, achieved 78% favourable score (vs. 62% of Global FMCG norms) and expect even better result in 2023. Flexibility & Wellbeing also received high praise, with 93% of employees saying they benefited from Flex Work program. Talent Retention was another success story, with 98% of key talent staying year-on-year (vs a target of 90%).
