For more than 20 years, Mr. Chad Ovel has worked in Vietnam and led valuable growth in restructuring, operating, and managing various organizations. Under Chad’s leadership, AmCham Vietnam is widely recognized by the business community and the Government of Vietnam.
With rich knowledge and experiences, he proactively disseminates and shares his voice to enable the continuous sustainable growth of Vietnam’s private sector.
Since March 2018, as the Country Representative for the US-ASEAN Business Council, Ms. Thuy has been a helpful source for US companies doing business in ASEAN in the business-related-policy-making process and facilitating Viet Nam’s SMEs in joining regional/global value supply chain. Formerly, Thuy served as the Deputy Director of the Agency for Foreign Trade in the Ministry of Industry and Trade, where she handled FTA negotiations and rule-of-origin related issues.
Mr. Simon has lived and worked in Vietnam for over 13 years as Managing Director in various industries. Along his career path, he has gained a deep understanding of the culture, lifestyle, and way of working here. As Executive Director, Mr. Simon is proud of the Auscham's 22-year long history in Vietnam as a champion for advocacy, connecting networks, and growing awareness & opportunities mutually between Australians and Vietnamese.
Passionate in education, Mr. Joshua James has contributed to building multicultural workforces and help organizations manage diversity in the workplace. He has experiences creating purpose-driven and leaning environment where at the same time motivating teams around vision and strategy. He believes education and business will change the world.
